Climbing up to Cansiglio from the road that passes through Fregona, you reach the green Valmenera valley. Here, you can access a short and easy hiking trail, suitable for children too (150 meters of elevation gain).

This trail is particularly fascinating in autumn due to the wonderful colors of the foliage and the opportunity to see and hear deer calling to each other.

From the Agriturismo Valmenera parking lot, walk alongside the dairy farm and reach the road below. Follow it until you reach Pian di Landro, with its wildlife observatory. From here, take the nature trail and walk for about 45 minutes. Then, leave the nature trail and take the dirt road on the right, which, through the meadows, takes you back to the starting point in half an hour.
